Meet our new Centenary Project Interns…
Hello! My name is Cameron and I am currently working for the centenary project as an intern! Over the last 2 years God has really changed my ideas of what I thought I was going to be doing with my life.
Originally I wanted to go to Bath University to study music and recording engineering but throughout my A levels really felt God telling me that he had something else in mind for my life.
Feeling quite uneasy about this at first I decided to take a gap year working at a youth center in Worcestershire where I discovered that God was leading me to Bible college. So I applied for Cliff College to study mission and ministry. Through another change of events, God lead me into a 6 month internship with a Vicar in Doncaster.
The course I applied for at Cliff required a full-time placement and it was through this 6 month internship that I discovered the centenary project internship and I thought it was perfect and just what I was looking for! I am hopeful that this year I will be able to learn and grow all the skills I need to for fill the calling God had put in my life.
Meet our other Centenary Project Intern…
“Hi my name is Lynne and I am so pleased to say that I am one of the new interns this year within the Centenary Project. Growing up in a non christian family meant my upbringing was perhaps different to many others but, over recent years I have gained faith and understanding in Jesus and the plans he has for me.
Having lived in Sheffield all of my childhood and now bringing my 4 children up here it is great to be able to serve within this Diocese.
Over the next year I am looking forward to working in Woodhouse for the Centenary Project, learning and growing in my faith and being able to use this to impact my ministry to Children and Families.
God has been with me in great times of need and I am looking forward to using this in the coming months to impact the lives of those I am blessed to be working with”
